EVE Stratum uses CCP's official EVE Online SSO so the app can read the character data needed for portfolio tracking, order review, industry evaluation, mining planning, and terminal telemetry. Public market intelligence remains economy-wide; SSO is only required when a tool needs your authorized character data.

What EVE Stratum does not receive.

No CCP passwordAuthentication happens on CCP's login page. EVE Stratum receives an access token, not your EVE password.
No real-world identityThe app does not request your email, billing data, payment details, or real-world personal information.
Read-only toolingRequested ESI scopes are used to read character data for dashboards, calculations, and trackers.
Character scopedAccess is tied to the character you authorize and can be revoked from CCP's authorized applications page.

What authentication unlocks.

TerminalWallet balance, valuation, assets, skill queue, PLEX charting, tasks, routines, and long-term ISK goals.
ExecutionMarket orders, escrow, stale listings, undercut pressure, near-fill orders, and repricing workflow support.
IndustryOwned blueprints, active jobs, structure-aware material locations, and build profitability context.
PlanningPortfolio imports, chart watchlists, mining skill/implant profile, and investment tracking workflows.

Scopes requested and why.

These scopes are read permissions for EVE character data. They let the app calculate valuations, locate assets, inspect owned blueprints, review active jobs, monitor your orders, and import portfolio-relevant wallet or contract activity.
